Advocate Dana Vaknin is a partner lawyer in the Litigation and Labor Law Department at Weksler Bregman & Co.

Dana has acquired great expertise over the years in civil and commercial litigation and in representing some of Israel’s largest companies in complex and extensive proceedings, including representation in the various civil courts on issues relating to professional negligence, real estate, company law, consumer law, administrative appeals, fashion retailing, construction and real estate, manufacturing plants, defamation cases and more.

Advocate Vaknin also enjoys unique and comprehensive expertise in Israeli labor law, particularly in relation to litigation, and has represented some of the economy’s largest commercial companies, including hotel chains, retail fashion outlets, construction and real estate companies, manufacturing plants, and more. Her experience encompasses representation of the firm’s clients at various legal tribunals, labor courts, the National Labor Court, and at various government ministry committees (Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Labor, the Population Administration). Dana provides employers with appropriate support on sensitive, complex issues and gives ongoing back-up and consultation, in and outside the courtroom, as well as in complex mediation and arbitration proceedings, and repeatedly succeeds in achieving excellent results for the firm’s clients, either by favourable judgments or settlements.

Inter alia, Dana has provided support and successfully represented – one of Israel’s leading construction entrepreneurs, on a range of issues involving complex and sensitive subjects reviewed in numerous files; she represented a well-known transportation company in a number of administrative appeals relating to tenders worth tens of millions of Shekels, at various legal instances; she represented a landowner in a claim relating to the construction of a real estate project in central Israel, with a value of hundreds of millions of Shekels; she provided support and representation to one of Israel’s largest building companies in an arbitration proceeding involving tens of millions of Shekels; she represented a leading company in claims relating to employees’ rights, which had far-reaching implications and were in a scope of millions of Shekels; she represented a hotel chain at various legal instances on many issues relating to the subject of an employer-employee relationship; and she has represented  banks and building companies with regard to the registration of condominiums, and more.

Dana ensures that her support and advice is given to clients in a personal yet highly professional manner, from the very first stages of a conflict, throughout the preliminary stages and concluding with the various court and appeal proceedings.

From 2010 to 2014, Dana served as a teaching and research assistant at the College of Management Academic Studies, where she was engaged, inter alia, on Legal Doctrine, Tort Law and other courses in the field of civil law.
