Adv. Shahar Rozenthal joined the Capital Markets and Corporate Department at Weksler Bregman in 2014 as an intern and resumed as a lawyer in 2015 in the International Commercial Department.

Shahar has diverse experience in all facets of commercial law and corporate law, including accompaniment of companies through all operations, ranging from everyday activities to strategic events, such as complex local and international transactions and high profile mergers and acquisitions. Ongoing accompaniment includes, inter alia, various kinds of commercial agreements, including investment agreements, joint ventures, manufacturing agreements, distribution agreements, franchise agreements, services and employment agreements, trademark registration and more.

Shahar also serves as a legal counsel for several technology and manufacturing companies, and provides them with comprehensive, continuous, and professional legal advice regarding all their business activities, including their commercial transactions.

In addition to his activities in the commercial field, Shahar has rich experience in the field of fashion and consumerism, where he gained extensive experience while accompanying one of the largest and leading fashion groups in Israel, which includes, inter alia, the franchise for the fashion brands Zara, Zara – Home, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and more, as well as international production of swimwear and high fashion that includes brands such as Gottex, Profile and more.

The legal services provided by Shahar are characterized by the personal relationships generated with his clients, and combined with his professionalism, assists the clients to bring to realization complex and extensive projects in the most successful manner.

  • Represented Shiratech Solutions Ltd. in raising an investment of approximately 30,000,000 NIS from several investors. Shiratech operates in the field of IoT 4.0 for industry, a field that combines Internet-of-Things, artificial intelligence (AI), self-study capabilities and communication between machines.
  • Combines aspects of real estate development and corporate law, for the acquisition of rights in a land of approximately 60 dunams from a settlement (in the center of the country), for the construction of logistics storage buildings (with a potential construction of tens of thousands of meters). The legal ground for the transaction is Resolution 1569 of the Israeli Lands Authority, which concerns the rights of an agricultural settlement to change the designation of agricultural land for the purpose of employment and its allocation to a settlement or corporation, without exemption from a tender.
  • Represented the shareholders of a private hospital (in the center of the country) in a transaction, in which the shareholders sold their holdings in the company that operates the hospital, and in addition sold separately their rights in the land on which the hospital is built, totaling approximately 60,000,000 NIS.
  • Represented EFI Europe (a subsidiary of EFI Properties Ltd.), in a transaction in an amount of approximately NIS 250,000,000, in which it acquired from Tidhar Group, its partner in Airport City Belgrade project, the holdings of Tidhar Group (46.3%) in the project.
  • Represented Cargal Ltd., in the sale of half of Cargal’s holdings in its subsidiary, Cargal Lehavim Ltd. (which owns a corrugated board and packaging factory), for approximately 63,000,000 NIS, as well as in the negotiations to sign a new lease agreement, in the amount of approximately 180,000,000 NIS.
  • Represented Africa Israel Group, in the sale of its hotel operations to the Dayan family, for a total amount of approximately 937,000,000 NIS.
