Advocate Stav Levy is an associate lawyer in the Labor and Employment Law department at Weksler Bregman & Co.

Before joining the firm in 2017, Stav interned and later worked as a lawyer in some of Israel’s largest commercial law firms and acquired extensive experience in the practice of personal and collective labor law, experience which included the management of substantial litigation files in the Labor Courts, dealing with collective employment disputes, negotiating and drafting collective employment agreements and representing and supporting employers in all stages of employment.

Stav adopts a strong commercial approach on all aspects of her clients’ activities, both local and international, including high-tech companies, fashion retailers, manufacturers, public companies, hotel chains, embassies, construction and real-estate companies, etc.

Stav expertise extends over many aspects of labor law, and in this context, she provides ongoing support to commercial and public companies, including in relation to disciplinary and/or dismissal proceedings; employment and termination agreements; incentive shares and opinions plans; commercial engagements relating to various service sectors; managing legal proceedings and litigation in Labor Courts, including mediation and arbitration proceedings and appeals to the National Labor Court; the management of collective negotiations and labor disputes; dealing with collective employment relationships and their initial collective organization; guiding foreign companies in the employment of Israeli employees; merger and acquisition transactions; downsizing and lateral re-organization processes; due diligences; legal risk assessment and more.

Among the files in which Stav has been involved, Stav represented and provided support in an international transaction which ranks among the largest in Israel in terms of its economic scope; she has represented some of Israel’s leading commercial companies in various disputes and collective agreement negotiations up to and including the signing of a collective agreement; she supported a public company in the closure of a large factory; has accompanied several foreign companies in the establishment/closing of an international branch in Israel; has represented clients in very substantial claims at the Labor Court, and more.

In addition, Stav frequently gives lectures to various organizations on various private and collective labor law, and in particular, on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Law, engagement with different service providers; the Hours of Work and Rest Law, disciplinary and hearing procedures, and more.
