Our firm’s Urban Renewal Department began its activities more than a decade ago in the early stages of the field’s development and since then it has been active in all aspects of it. The company has a backlog of thousands of housing units in dozens of projects throughout Israel.
The department has extensive experience in all types of transactions in the field: evacuation-construction transactions, various Tama transactions and acquisitions of companies in the field of urban renewal.
The department has special expertise in representing tenants while implementing the principles of maximizing the potential of tenants’ rights vis-à-vis developers, full availability, regular updates, transparency, integrity and unconditional loyalty.
The department represents all stakeholders in the field of urban renewal: apartment owners, developers and banks that provide financing for urban renewal projects.
This gives us a deep understanding of all the interests of all the players in the transaction, which also gives us a huge advantage in representing any type of rights holders in the field.
Another advantage of our firm is the broad and comprehensive legal envelope of the firm’s other departments, including the Planning and Building Department, the Registration Department and the Corporate Department, which are available to assist in their area of expertise.
Urban renewal projects are long-term projects that last for many years. Our firm, established in 1936, has experience in accompanying the construction of hundreds of real estate projects and thousands of housing units over decades throughout Israel.
