Advocate Adi Leveikin is an associate lawyer working in the Banking and Finance Department, and in the Corporations and Capital Market Department at Weksler, Bregman & Co.

Prior to joining the firm (in 2022) Adi worked in the field of commercial litigation.

Adi did her internship in the unit responsible for supervising license holders in the Securities Authority’s investment department and in that context assisted in supporting the unit’s preliminary regulatory processes (including legislative amendments), in preparing legal opinions, in responding to inquiries from the public, etc. Adi also assisted the unit’s work in its ongoing supervision of compliance by investment portfolio managers, investment consultants and investment marketers with their legal requirements. Adi was involved in initiating and providing professional back-up for the Authority’s enforcement activity following breaches of the Law to Regulate Engagement in Investment Consulting, Investment Marketing and Investment Portfolio Management, 1995, including participating at meetings of the Authority’s administrative enforcement committees and at plenary meetings.

Adi works in the field of banking and in all facets of the capital market, including finance, corporate law, securities law and banking law.

Adi provides ongoing legal advice and support to banking corporations, financial institutions and corporations that report to the Stock Exchange and the Securities Authority, including legal advice on all matters relating to banking and regulatory issues. In addition, Adi provides legal consultation on corporate governance, on issues such as transactions with controlling shareholders, remunerations policies and internal enforcement programs. Adi is also involved in consulting and preparing current and immediate reports by reporting corporations to the Stock Exchange and the Securities Authority and in advising and guiding corporation reports to authorities in the preparation of prospectuses and in conducting compliance surveys, as well as in a wide range of legal and commercial issues.
