LGBT rights in the workplace

LGBT parenting in Israel usually takes the form of joint biological parenting, surrogacy and adoption. The LGBT population in the Israeli employment market, and especially in the workplace, does not have unique rights granted to them by virtue of being LGBT or a future LGBT family.

However, when it comes to parental rights, adjustments and interpretation are often required in the absence of up-to-date legislation. Limor Argov-Shenhav, partner and Head of our Labor Law Department, conducted a review for Calcalist Calcalist in honor of Pride Month, regarding community rights in the workplace.
